❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What is Yacire Player?
Yacire Player is an intelligent media player app that lets you play your own M3U/M3U8 playlist files. It features AI-powered Smart Moments detection, mood-based content filtering, and personalized recommendations. We do NOT provide any content — you bring your own playlists.
How do I add a playlist?
Open the app and tap the "+" button. You can add a playlist by entering an M3U URL, importing a local file, or using Xtream Codes credentials. The app will automatically parse and organize your channels.
What are Smart Moments?
Smart Moments is our AI-powered feature that automatically detects and saves interesting highlights from your streams. It identifies exciting moments in sports, breaking news segments, and more — all with confidence scoring and easy playback.
How does Mood Selector work?
The Mood Selector lets you choose how you're feeling (Happy, Relaxed, Energetic, Focused, etc.) and the app intelligently filters your channels to show content that matches your mood. It's like having a personal content curator!
Is my data private?
Yes! Your playlists, viewing history, and favorites are stored locally on your device only. We never access, collect, or share your content. We only collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Why isn't my playlist loading?
Common causes include: invalid URL format, expired playlist, network issues, or unsupported format. Make sure your M3U/M3U8 URL is valid and accessible. Try opening the URL in a browser to verify it works.
Do you provide channels or streams?
No. Yacire Player is a media player only. We do NOT provide, host, or distribute any content. Users must provide their own M3U playlist files and are responsible for ensuring they have legal rights to access the content.

🔧 Troubleshooting Tips

Stream Not Playing

Try switching between the built-in player and external player in settings. Some streams work better with specific players. Also check your internet connection.

App Crashing

Make sure you're running the latest version of the app. Try clearing the app cache or reinstalling. If the issue persists, contact support with your device model and iOS version.

Playlist Parse Error

Ensure your M3U file is properly formatted. The URL should end with .m3u or .m3u8 and be directly accessible. Some servers require authentication.

Buffering Issues

Buffering is usually related to your internet speed or the stream server. Try a different channel to see if the issue is with a specific stream. Wi-Fi typically works better than cellular data.
